Not medical advice

Pickleballer provides general fitness, wellness, and educational information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is no substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are over 55, or have been inactive.

Stop and get help if you feel unwell

Stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath. These can be signs of a serious problem. Do not push through them.

General, not personalized

Our warm-up, recovery, and education content is age-band-general. It is selected by broad age range, not tailored to your individual health, history, or conditions. It is not personalized medical guidance. What is safe and appropriate varies from person to person; only a professional who knows your situation can advise you.

Pickleball carries inherent risk

Pickleball and physical exercise carry an inherent risk of injury. By acting on any content in the app, you voluntarily assume that risk. Warm up sensibly, work within your limits, and use appropriate equipment and a safe playing surface.

In an emergency

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number right away. Do not rely on the app for urgent care.

How we produce health content

Some of our health and wellness copy is drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publishing. Review does not make it personal medical advice. It remains general educational information, and the guidance above still applies.
