You decide what you would do. Pick which shot to hit and where to aim it, then tap your answer. It takes about two minutes.
See if it was smart
We tell you right away if it was a good choice or a risky one, and why. You get a score out of 100. No guessing and no luck.

- What is Pickleballer?
- It is a simple app that helps you get better at pickleball. The main part is a quick puzzle you can do once a day. We show you one moment from a real game and ask what you would do. You pick a shot, and we tell you right away if it was a smart choice and why. The app also has easy practice drills, gentle warm-ups chosen for your age, and friendly games you can play with the people you play with.
- Do I need to be good at pickleball already?
- No. Whether this is your first week or you play in tournaments, the app meets you where you are. Everything is explained in plain, simple words, and you learn a little more each time you play.
- What does "the soft game" mean?
- Some players just hit the ball as hard as they can every time. We call that a banger. The soft game means playing with control and patience, using gentle, well-placed shots instead of big swings. Controlled play usually beats just hitting hard, and Pickleballer helps you learn how to do it.
- How much does it cost?
- You start with a 3-day free trial, then it is $9.99 a month for everything: the Daily Pickle, your Soft Game rating, pods, the Kitchen Challenge, training, and your personal insights. There is no charge during the trial, and you can cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Resets are always earned through play, never bought.
- Can I play with my friends?
- Yes. You can make a small private group with the people you play with. You can see who did best on the day's puzzle, climb your group's live Top Baller board, and send a friendly head-to-head challenge. Your group board is private to your group. There is also an optional public seasonal Top Baller ladder you can choose to join. It is off unless you turn it on, it shows your display name only, and you can leave it any time.
- Is it easy to use for older players?
- Yes. We made it easy to read and easy to tap, with big buttons, high contrast, and clear words, so it works just as well for someone who is 70 as for someone who is 20. The warm-ups and stretches are even chosen to match your age.
- When does the app come out?
